Male and Female: Balancing the Energy Within

As physical bodies and sexes are concerned we, as human beings are either male or female. We have general traits---originating from within our DNA, then strengthened by our cultures--that dictate our behavioral make up. These 'lines' are not altogether straight and vary a great deal from man to man and woman to woman. Depending upon your personal make up you may, within your culture experience a kind of disapproval of your traits if it takes your behaviors beyond certain culturally drawn lines. These lines are fallible, they are 'man made'.
One area that comes to mind is emotional expression. Generally men are 'allowed' to be angry if they are hurt, but not to shed tears as this is seen as weak. Pardon the phrase, but 'nothing could be further from the Truth'. Women are permitted to cry, yet anger is many times not as well recieved. Anger is a valid and useful emotion in the right place and appropriately placed, yet the shedding of tears in relation to being hurt is much closer to the truth than anger about the same, which is a much more protected and less vulnerable state, hence it is Much easier to come by.
When men see other men cry that are not actively stifling their tears, they usually feel a kind of helplessness or uncomfortableness. When men see other men in anger, they are generally much more 'at home' with this. As men we feel safer with this. Isn't that just a little bit scary? I think so, considering that tears are closer to pain.
When women see other women cry they support them through embracing and listening. In general there is not an effort to stop them.
All emotions are are appropriate for both sexes. Crying is not weakness; it is being in touch with what hurts you enough to let the water flow out--the water of emotion. Let's not forget about Tears of Beauty or Joy. Perhaps it is that Tears of Pain wrench the Heart when we see them flowing from another, which in men prompts this desire to dry them up, however through our support of one another and acceptance of this state in all people regardless of gender they dry up of their own. This is a Healing process that the Creator has placed inside of us human beings. It is tender and beautiful and signifies a letting go of false and harmful cultural 'stops'. Futhermore, it shows our Humanity and helps to keep us Clean. That's right; Tears Clean us of Energetic Debris.
As we Evolve further from the War Culture that we have become and Align once again with the Beauty and Wisdom of our Earth Mother we may find that Love, Peace, Wisdom, and Gentleness will not just be ideas of Virtues that We Feel every once in a while, but more and more become the Fiber of our very Beings.
   Generosity,...Wisdom,...Respect,...Courage....
