As a common American 'joe' I have to admit that I am very hopeful about what Could come out of the current Health Care Reform legislation. For years now--about 10 to be exact--I have not had health care coverage simply because I cannot afford it. The premiums are simply too high. They take too much of a slice out of my overall income. Are we destined to continue to be a Nation that cannot take care of it's own?
We have been here before with Health Care Overhaul on the docket. Five Times before, since WWII, with changes being made, yes, but not the kind that balances the 'tables of the moneychangers' by any means. Maybe this time it will be something to celebrate? Why don't we let the Spirit of what America's Forefathers Stood For SHINE through the Bureaucracy this time? Here we are again and we have the Potential to Create something that we can Actually, Realistically be Proud of. Will we?
